Cashew Connect is built on a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)architecture. The knowledge base is curated from ICAR-DCR Puttur’s published research papers, technical bulletins, extension materials, and expert agronomist input.

The system is specifically fine-tuned for cashew cultivation contexts and does not rely on general internet search results. All responses are grounded in the curated knowledge base, with source citations available on request.

Languages: The model supports Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Odia, Konkani, and English using multilingual embedding models trained on Indic language corpora.
